Nutrition can become noisy when every meal is measured against a new rule. A gentler framework is to build meals around what helps you feel fed, satisfied and supported, then adjust with your own body and circumstances in mind.

A flexible foundation
Think about a source of protein, some colourful plants, satisfying carbohydrates and fats that make a meal enjoyable. The exact balance changes with the meal, your appetite and your needs.
Leave space for real life
Convenience, culture, budget and energy all belong in the conversation. A nourishing pattern has to work on an ordinary Tuesday, not just on the days you have endless time.
Start with addition
Rather than beginning with restriction, ask what you could add to make your next meal more satisfying. A handful of leaves, a spoonful of seeds or a portion of protein can be a useful place to start.
